Let's suppose I get a model. But it is fairly complex and is still being UV'd. Not wishing to loose any time I start texturing it in Mari using Ptex. I finish the texturing about the same time the UVs are finished. There are some advantages to using UVs so I was hoping to transfer my textures from Ptex to my UVs.
Is such a thing possible in Maya?
