  • VrayEdgeTex bump for round edges trick

In Maya, we can't use the trick of put in bump node a VrayEdgeTex node, right?. In documentation, we can see there is no reference to this ability, while in the max documentation is perfeclty clear.

We should use "Vray Round Edges" Vray attribute of the geometry, right?.

Its recommended to use "phong" brdf too?

No, you can't use it in this way in Maya. You have to use the separate round corners attribute.

It depends, you might try with the "fix dark glossy edges" option - it could work well with Blinn and Ward too.
