  • Batch animated vrmesh creation

    We're working with 2.20.01 and looking at batching out dozens of high poly animated objects as vrMeshes. I could write a script to run against a selection list in Maya, but at up to an hour's processing each, it's going to tie up a box for quite some time.

    Has anybody farmed this kind of task out? Ideally running the process against a directory list of .ma files (each containing a single animated mesh). Or perhaps against a mass alembic export?

    Grabbing a half dozen boxes end of day and batching it through interactive will work, just looking for a smoother ride.
