Vue xStream With Maya & V-Ray

Hi,

Wanted to check if anyone is using Vue xStream with Maya & VRay?

What are your experiences in terms of:
1. Output quality
2. Ease of use
3. Integration

Please let me know. Also, will be delighted to see if any sample renders are done using VRay.

We have run a few quick tests with Vue xSteam Personal Learning edition and it seams to be working correctly with Vray.
We recommend you to forward this request to e-on software for their official answer.

I use it for doing skys with our camera animation and it work very well and pretty fast.

For some of the skys like the example above it works really fast - but for some specific setups like god-rays or sunset it is a little bit slow.

Thanks. Can you please paste some images of the preset scene that come with Vue rendered using VRay. Will be delighted if you can show some renders done using Vue trees, procedural rock terrains, god rays and clouds.

Yes , I wanted to do that but unfortunately there are no preset-scenes with personal-learning-version.
I'll send a request to e-on - and I'll update you if they agree to send us a few example scenes.

Unfortunately it doesn't work for the moment.

We'll have to test again and see. A lot of things have changed since 2013 and I would expect this to work with IPR. Unless you're interested in something other than IPR ?

I just would like it to function normally .. it only seems to render when on cpu so far on my machine. even with 3.06. NEXT - it just crashes Maya.,Also... since there is no "REAL" way to contact Bently et all .. about this other then a support form. which I've done.. its hard to know if this is even on their radar.

I want it to work normally too. We need to test and see if it's something happening on the V-Ray end or the Vue end.

yes cool please let me know.. I think at this point that with next the 2 plugins loaded crash Maya.. so... not a good start... though might just be on my machine.. Mac osx which may or may not matter.. I think I got it to load once but.. I don't think any added item from the Vue side showed up unless I converted it to native assets.. which I thought was something you didn't have to do with v-ray and Vue.. from what e-on says..

I can't really get it to work, the installer is for V-Ray 3, so the guys at Vue should look into Next support, I guess.
Do you have any crash logs?
