Vray and Carbon Scatter

I have upcoming project with lot of vegetation, so I am planning to invest money in some plugin that will help me. I was looking at Carbon Scatter 2, does anyone here has some experience with it? I was not happy when doing trial for v1, maybe something changed in mean time. I know about Vray scatter, but I need something that wil work with more than just Vray.

Any help appreciated!

I have tested Carbon scatter and it was very bugged...
I prefer to use Vray scatter.
