  • How to render Deep images in Vray?

    How would I do this in Vray for Maya for Deep Compositing?? (Using the latest nightly build)

    Choose "exr (deep)" as the output image format. That's all.

      thanks, it works! is there a way to view these files outside of nuke 7? like another program for quick previewing?

        One more question...does deep EXR work with Phoenix? Tried to render out some fire, but it just outputs a black image.

          None that I know of, unfortunately. There is an OpenEXR viewer that comes with the OpenEXR library, but I don't know if you can get it compiled somewhere.

            It works if you use geometry mode for Phoenix.
