  • Apply gamma to vraymtl

    Hi,
I am currently learning to us Gamma values in VRay settings and VRay advanced Textures attributes, however I didn't find how to apply gamma on a VRayMtl having a simple color assigned to it.

    Any hint ? Thanks.

In that color node, I assume is texture so file node. Just go to extra attribute load vray gamma correction and use it.

Sorry, I misexplained. I directly assigned a color to the Diffuse field, not via a color node... But am not sure how to assign gamma when a color is directly assigned.

You do not need to gamma correct the actual shader color, if you render the pure red value and measure it, its already properly gammaed in srgb
