vertex color render

Hi,

I am trying to render vertex color using vray for maya.

Would there be any kind of step by step tutorial or suggestions?

Any kind of suggestions will be appreciated.

Here is one very basic tutorial.

1.Paint some vertex colors with Paint Vertex Color Tool


2.Assign VrayMtl with VrayVertexColors inside Diffuse-Slot


There are two ways to connect maya's-vertex-color-node to VrayVertexColors node.

3A. With Connection Editor - select ObjectShape node from the left and VrayVertexColors texture from the right and connect ColorSet[index].ColorName to ColorSet


3B. By manually typing Color Set name in Set name field into VrayVertexColors-node. Color Set names could be found in Color Set Editor


4. Render
