Distributed rendering from pc to a Mac

Hi all,

I run V-Ray on a pc at the mo.

I'm looking at buying a new mac pro and was wondering if I can add this mac for distributed rendering?

Hello sherridge101,

You can use your new MAC as render slave for DR as long as the Standalone on the MAC is the same version as the V-Ray installed on the Windows machine.
Keep in mind that it is possible not everything to go smoothly all the time when using Windows and MAC for the same render job.
