Vray proxy and displacement?

hey guys,I know you could add a displacement attribute on the actual model. but will it work if i add a displacement attribute on the proxy node??

Yeap - it should work without any issues.
Let us know if you have any troubles with it.

It should work, but keep in mind that you'll loose the memory saving feature of the proxies, because V-Ray will read the whole proxy in memory in order to do the subdivide and/or displace it.
