  • Diffuse channel Reflection render element

I was curious if there's a way to get the reflection element to reflect the diffuse channel?
I'm working on a project with a flat style to it, and at the moment, my solution has been to apply a surface shader and render it separately to get rid of the lighting information.

    Thanks

Maybe just use the vray light material for all of your objects? Or use self illumination in the vray material?

That's really the same as the surface shader result though. I was more curious if there was an option where you could define the reflection element to only render diffuse instead of beauty.

I think you might be able to set the reflection in shader to have All Channels. Then if you look at ur light/specular/refl/ in the object reflections then you will have light pass etc etc. Is that what you want?

          Hi,
Add a material override on your material. In the reflection override slot, connect a vrayLightMtl with the same texture.
