  • Physical camera vs Dome camera

Hi, I suspect this may be a stupid question so apologies in advance.

I like the look of the dome camera but I don't seem to have any control over the exposure controls with that camera.
The physical camera has the exposure controls but doesn't look as nice for the particular scene I'm working on.

So, is it a choice between the dome camera or exposure controls, or is there some way to combine them?

    Thanks

You can use the color mapping settings in the renderer setup dialog to control the final image brightness when using the dome camera (i.e. choose Reinhard color mapping, set the desired multiplier and leave the burn value to 1.0 if you want linear output). Although I agree that it would be better if the dome camera included its own exposure controls.

    Best regards,
    Vlado

Or could they both be combined?
At the moment if you have both? Like add the dome camera, then add the physical on top with the option like film gate, focal lenght... grey out?

        Sounds a bit messy...
