Vray 3 & Shave v9 problem

Hi guys,

i have a strange problem so i wanna to check with you

i'v been playing with shave and vrayhair3 and i notice a lots of problems, i think they are not related to vray...

- looks like there is a bug in shave and vrayhairsampler doesnt work at all

- i have connected the distanceAlongStrand -> ramp V -> vrayhair3 color, but nothing, just a plain color

would be nice if someone could check this out

Is this a beta build - Shave & Hair v9, because i can only see the v8 builds in the download section?
The Maya file was not opened properly in v8.

nothing urgent, i just notice that hairsampler didnt work for shave, but does for yeti

Hmm, same result here. V-Ray HairSampler/FurSampler node doesn't work at all with Shave 9. Tried both - Distancealongstrand and RandomByStrand.
We will see if there is something we can do at our side, but can you report this issue to Joe Alter as well?

Ok, this will be fixed at our side (some empty functions in the Shave code) and all changes will be forwarded to Joe Alter.
Probably the next beta will work fine

I think our part of the code is ready and the next step is Shave and Hair 9 build to be updated.
