Lens Effects "No channel, please re-render!

Howdy, I see that max users implement some kind of lens or environment shader to access the Lens Effects functionality in the VFB. What is the workflow in Maya?

Around 0:42" he adds a "lens effects" in the environment settings; my bad I recalled he said "lens shader"
