  • Probabilistic lights and skylight portals

    Hi there.

Is it possible to disable, or opt out, one specific light source from the probabilistic light optimization?
I am working on an interior scene, with many light sources and one skylight portal.
The probabilistic optimization gives good results in this scene, concerned to render speed, one issue i have is that one of the lights that it is ignoring is the portal, and that is problematic as i need to be sure that this specific light source is always calculated and sampled.
Do i need to disable the Probabilistic option or is there any workaround for this?

    Thanks!

I am afraid that this is not possible currently so the only option would be to turn off probabilistic lights option.
What exactly is the issue with the portal light when probabilistic lights is enabled? Can you show us some examples or provide a demo scene?
