  • Is there a way to convert maya instancer to vray proxies?

    Hi guys,

I'm trying to figure out if it's possible to speed up my instancer with vray proxies... so far i'm not understanding how I would go about doing this. Is it possible?

    Thanks!

you first would have to bake instancer since its particles to geo, then convert them to proxies (I think) or I also think, you could use vray proxy to pass to instancer (but I never tried this)

You could use the instancer to scatter proxies, no problem.
