  • Motion blurr question...

    hi,
for me, this can´t be correct - can it?
    1. the helicopter flies realy fast forward
    2. the camera is locked to the heli, so it moves exactly with the same speed
    3. MB on the physical cam is on

    for me...
    1. the helicopter blades must be in MB, because of fast rotation
    2. the ocean must be rendered with clear MB, because of fast camera moving
    3. the helicopter must be rendered without any MB, because of no speed difference between heli and camera
    ...but look what happens here...

it looks like either the camera is not parent to the helicopter, or the camera motion blur checkbox is off.

      Dmitry, thanks for the hint!
I´m not sure, if I set the correct settings!? Please see the image...
I thought these settings has to do with the maya cam!
And I wonder about, that I´ve to activate the MB checkbox inside the physCam settings...
...AND the MB checkbox in the Overrides settings, because when not, the "Camera motion blur" checkbox isn´t to see!
Double activate MB to get the chance to activate Cam MB - wow
      BUT...it works now
Thanks man, JörgClick image for larger version

I can't remember exactly, but physical cam perhaps is overwritten by the globals which still play part in the whole thing. Best to test that out though. Glad it works now
