I don't see a particle at all if I convert 2 vraymesh. The filesize of the vrmesh is big so that's good. Could you explain more in detail, how this process goes? Do you export bif2prt in default settings? and ply2vrmesh i did set a -pointSize but I don't see any particles. And how can I extract the particle density from the vrmesh?

About combining channels - have no idea.I just can't seem to trust myself
So what chance does that leave, for anyone else?

Btw - you can try to use vdb for maya to export bif grid density param to somewhere in vray. Just not sure it will work, but I think it is possible. MaybeI just can't seem to trust myself
So what chance does that leave, for anyone else?

is it possible now to access bifrost attributes like density or vorticity with vrayusercolor?
What's the best way to render bifrost foam with vray?
edit: Just to clarify, I want to render Bifrost Foam directly with vray StandardMaterial attached, but control the Opacity of particles with the Bifrost density attribute.
But I am not able to access it with vrayUser Nodes...
Would be quite urgent to know if it's possible with vray, as there is no documentation or tutorial online about Foam.Last edited by doppelgaengerdigital; 10-03-2021, 04:13 AM.
