  • Estimated progressive buffer memory warning

    Hi,

I recently saw this during a render which errored:
"Estimated progressive buffer memory usage of 23814 MB is over the limit of 2048 MB. Falling back to per-pixel filtering."

I'm trying to decipher this message. What does "progressive buffer memory" refer to in this case, and where (and why) is the limit of 2048 MB being set?
    Best Regards,
    Fredrik

It means that V-Ray will use a different image filtering method to reduce the memory usage of the progressive sampler. It shouldn't cause any errors.
