Apologies if I'm missing something but:

I've noticed that if I do a forum search for a three character word (for example "IPR") it says there are no results, even though there are threads with this word in. Not only this, but it appears that if I do a search with another word (for example "IPR Render") it ignores the "IPR" part and just gives the results I would get when searching for "Render".

I understand that many forums prevent searching for very short words, but the above functionality makes it almost impossible to find all the threads which discuss the IPR renderer. Likewise for GPU, EXR, LUT etc...

Is there a way of just searching for 3 letter words?! Thx

I agree, there should be a set of excluded words from the minimum.

Try *IPR*, however I've found that when you search for '*IPR* test' it just searches for test and ignores *IPR*. : )

Thanks for the suggestion - helps a bit, but it still ignores the word "IPR" unless it is preceded or followed by further characters. For example, it doesn't find this thread!

The search of three letters word will cause performance issues, we'll see what we can do about that.
