Do you mean an equivalet to Windows Start > All Programs > Chaos Group > V-Ray for Maya 20xx for x64 > V-Ray standalone command prompt ?
If that's the case you can use in Terminal in Mac
/Applications/Autodesk/maya201x/vray/bin/vray -help to see the possible commands.

So is it the "vrayterminal" in Maya>vray>bin folder?
As the PC version is vray specific running the mac terminal doesnt seem to take any commands "-bash: vray: command not found".

Once you open a regular Terminal window on the Mac, you just need to run the 'vray' script in that folder.
