Can we expect to see glossy fresnel to be exposed in UI of regular VrayMtl and VrayAlSurface (if not out-of-box already) for 3.5 official release? Did a search in the forum and seems right now one have to go through (Create > V-Ray > Create from V-Ray plugin > BRDF material > BRDFVRayMtl).
It is built into the alSurface shader (there is no way to turn it off). It will be exposed in VRayMtl and will be enabled by default for newly created materials.

It's here! Was very excited this morning to install this so I could get online licensing up only to be quickly greeted by "NO LICENSES AVAILABLE" notice. Confused I scoured the forums to see what's going on and came across mentions of dongle licenses vs online licenses -"Unfortunately at this point is not possible to transfer/migrate licenses from a dongle to online."
Am I correct in understanding that only new licenses are available for online and if I have an older dongle license then I'm out of luck?
It is for the moment a precaution, nothing more. We know that the dongle licenses work fine without major issues, so we would prefer users who have those, to continue with the dongles for the time being. On the other hand, the online licensing is new and it will take a bit of time until we polish things in terms of user experience.
Actually makes sense. I was curious and downloading 3.5 for Maya right now. I also have 3.4 for Modo and was wondering if I would have problems with Modo on a dongle and Maya not. Dongle is not a huge issue at the moment and would prefer to see you get all the kinks out before you push net license out. Looking forward to see the new features in 3.5. Will you have support for Houdini 16 soon? Your current beta is on 15.5 but I've upgraded to 16.
Keep up the great work. Loving Vray more especially with all of the Autodesk madness with Arnold and now licensing.
