  • Randomize sampling pattern in the same frame?

Is it possible to re-render a frame with different seeds in sampling pattern, so as to better judge sampling noise vs intentional noise in geometry or shading, for example particles and flakes? Comparing two different frames lets you do this with the "Animated noise pattern" turned on, but that's only practical if nothing in the scene is animated.

The animated noise pattern will only change the sampling noise pattern (even if nothing is animated), but not things like the flakes seed. The flakes have their own seed parameter, but I doubt it is what you're looking for. Changing the current frame with no animation will give you the same result (new sampling noise pattern) as changing the sampling pattern random seed.
