  • Flat image shader

How do you create a flat shader, which will receive no light, GI etc from the scene, but will render the image on the geometry, as if viewing in photoshop.

I'm creating a sphere with a texture map (plugged in to the diffuse slot) and have added an object property where I've switched off all reflections etc. but am still getting shading and lighting from the scene.

    Cheers

I've unlinked the lights from the geometry, which I think did the trick.

Just wondering the standard vray material is the way to go for flat shaders?

Switching of 'Receive GI' turns the object black.

VRayLightMtl (receive GI off - I believe this is still not automatic but I might be wrong here as I don't use Maya)
