  • How to check all GPU cards are being used

    Hi all

Just wondering if there is a way to tell if all graphics cards are working.

I use a GPU app to check temperatures, but wondering if there is a better way.

Currently I select all 4 cards in open cl devices.
A message displays saying ?The change will take effect the next time the V-Ray RT render server runs?.

I launch ?V-Ray RT render server?

When I render, the output window says the following:
    The 4th card isn?t listed.

If you have done this with the "Select Devices for GPU Rendering" while you had Maya open, you'll need to restart Maya for the change to take effect. With 3.6 you can choose GPU devices from the Maya render settings without restarting Maya (in the VRay tab when you're using CUDA or OpenCL).
There's third-party tools for monitoring the GPU loads (like EVGA Precision for example).
