  • Strange artefacts... Help?

Hi, we have an underground parking garage to render, which means: few openings into which light can enter. When turning off the HDRI and only rendeing internal lights it looks as expected, but once the HDRI comes into play we get the artefacts as shown in the attached image. Any idea what could be causeing this?
Those brighter boxes do not coincide with the buckets BTW...
    Cheers,
    J

Lowering the HDRI intensity seems to help, but that throws off the light levels from what I would consider correct in the 'real world'. Any other option?

Turning on full light evaluation does the trick... 8 hours of debugging later - and it was as easy as flipping a switch.

Good to know...any idea what the underlying issue with adaptive vs full is?

HI, is it possible to share the scene with us so we could take a look and if possible fix this to work with the adaptive lights being ON since its recommended for faster rendering times without any issues. Thanks for your feedback.

Hi Shaio, sure thing. PM me with an email-address to which I can send the file.
