  • VFB : setAttr ".vfbSA" -type "Int32Array"

I've recently noticed that some of my scenes are bloated with this VFB data, thousands of these lines of numbers. Any idea of how to get rid of them from the scene without using a text editor?

This is a snapshot.....the scene has over 65000 lines of these numbers.

This piece of data holds the VFB settings, so that when you open the same scene, we can load in all the VFB color corrections and so on that you've tweaked. I think I can get you a simple script, but I need to test it first, I'll try and do that asap.

OK, I thought I could try with a reset and re-save the scene, but it's not going to work. So there's no way to do that right now.
Do you really need to not store this in the scene? When loading the scene later, you will loose your VFB color corrections if that wasn't stored in the scene file.

Ah, wait, I just remembered something. There's a reset VFB button in the render settings that will do almost exactly what you need. The vfbSA param block will still be in your file, but with only a few lines.
You'll need to do this before any rendering happens in Maya, though. You'll need to open Maya and before doing any rendering, you can open your scene, reset VFB and save your scene.
