ok, I've got 20frames now and it looks ok. Letting render for 75 frames now. just crossing fingers that "this" will be THE solution for my nightmare. Thanks a lot Dmitry !

Hope it renders fine for you tomorrow I think I might write a little tutorial on this subject.

I think comparing still with animation is not really fair. Beautiful still with nice render speed does not equal the same for animation. Further more, static scene fly through does not equal to fly through which contains moving objects. I would classify these are three levels of complexity. In film industry the latter is the most common. I've been working with these types of scenes for a long time and I can tell you there is never a perfect gi setting or sampling setting, every situation is unique.

So far, it works. I had to lower the settings, it was too expensive. But your solution worked so far without any big trouble.

I'm not comparing stills and animation. I'm saying that we should be able to render an animation when a still ready to work. I know it's not the case, at least not with the softwares I tested or used for now. But I think it should be normal. I want to work on nice models, nice setups, nice shaders, nice light, and when all this is done, I want to render, whenever it's a still or an animation. I don't want to dig into hundreds of settings.

Would you want to use your car if you would first have to charge the battery, verify that tires are attached, unmount the motor to check if everything is ok, test all windows, and make first a test drive around the corner ? probably not.

I don't know.... I want to create rather than troubleshoot.

Some of that is experience, some of that could be better. Can't really compare it to a car though. Cars has been in development for 100 years with billions of dollars. Some things are not even up to a renderer, for example hardware limitation. If you have a pc that was 1000 times faster you could render in realtime with brute force this would solve all the issues.
I agree that the amount of options and settings can be overwhelming, and it will get better in time
