V-Ray Next Maya 2016 Common Tab Error

Hi,

After upgrading to V-Ray Next for Maya 2016 I am getting on error printed on every new scene upon clicking the Render Settings window.

// Error: file: C:/Program Files/Autodesk/Maya2016/scripts/others/createMayaSoftwareCommonGlobalsTab.mel line 50: setParent: Object 'commonTabColumn' not found. //

This happens once and the 'Common' tab in Render Settings is blank. If you then navigate through the Vray, GI, Overrides tabs etc, and back to the Common tab, it displays as it should and all seems ok.

Is there a reason why this is happening and a way to fix?

Do you have other renderers loaded at the same time? I think there was an issue when Arnold is loaded and then this error is printed.

I only have V-Ray and the Maya Software / Hardware renderers loaded which I dont believe I can unload?

Can you try re-installing V-Ray, but after uninstalling it, make sure there are no errors in the uninstaller and that no vray files are left in program files (on windows) or wherever the install location is. This was fixed long ago and should not be a problem even with 3.60 or Next.

We dont install vray locally, we run it from a network location.

Is there a specific vray file or plugin that I should be looking for? To my kwnoledge there isn't anything left behind from a previous local install.
