  • Physical Camera settings - NO effect on render

    Hi folks.

I have a scene where I have imported vrscenes exported from Max into Maya.
I have recreated a Physical camera in Maya but the F-stop ISO and shutter speed have no effect.
moving the sliders to full have no effect on the render.

So do the render settings come from the imported Vrscene and need to be overridden?

PS yes I am looking through the renderCam.

So here is a screen shot showing the render region being the same result with the physical camera turned on/off!

and here is the same scene in Max as it should be and how we need to recreate in Maya via the vrscene export.

The render settings are not imported with a vrscene in Maya.
Are you rendering from the correct camera? When you render with the teapot button on the VFB, it will use the last used camera, not the one in the viewport (just a guess). Also - if you right-click the teapot icon in the VFB, you can choose the camera to render from.
