Caustics too small

Hi,

trying everything. Just follow up every single tutorial i found on the web but alway the same here. Get the caustics but not realistics and good sharp shapes, just get small caustics everywhere. dont know what im doing worng.

"Affect shadows" disabled, just one light with no difusse and specular contribution just for caustics cause im lighting up everything with HDRI. All other lights with parameters disabled. Water surface has texture deformer applied with ocean texture.

Any idea?

Send your scene so we could take a look and see exactly what's going on. What version of V-Ray are you currently using?

You could make an archive and attach it here or send it to support@chaosgroup.com with some description.

If the scene is big in size you could share it via Dropbox, GoogleDrive, WeTransfer or upload it to our FTP server.

You could use the following credentials in order to log in into our FTP server:

ftp.chaosgroup.com
user: chaosupload
pass: drag&dr@pt@savefiles

Once you are logged in you will get a warning "Failed to retrieve directory listing", this is because the directory browsing is forbidden but you will be able to upload files without any issues.

What light sources do you have in your scene? It would be best if you can get us an example.

Hi, I did sended it to you, via wetransfer.

Tested with any type of light source, maya native, vray rect,... . The scene has dome, and ies lights, also rect lights,... Nothing special.
