I'm not sure if this is supposed to be happening or not with my combination of settings. My shadow catching geometry is creating blocks like the ones pictured when my dome light is set to adaptive. Turning that option off solves the issue but the look of my shadows changes quite drastically.

dome light adaptive + mask object bug ?

The issue above seems to also effect the lighting and GI render elements. The lighting render element for example is a lot darker when adaptive it turned off on the dome light but the beauty is still the same. I'm sure during back to beauty compositing this would not be the case given how different the individual buffers look. I'm on v-ray next hotfix 2 (v4.04.03.00010)1 Photo
