Currently, wondering if there are any known limitations with Maya and Vray renderablecurves? I'm trying to render a bowl of noodles with SSS and the GI is giving strange results. SSS doesn't seem to work at all? Also, spec reflections on FastSSS are a little out of control.

They are Maya curves rendered with the vRay RenderableCurve Attributes
It didn't want to accept the maya binary file, so I uploaded to my server.

You were right there is something we need to fix, I reported the issue in our bug tracking system. For now, as a workaround, you can extrude geometry from those splines that you can use with the same shader or use AlSurface shader instead.Last edited by Zdravko.Keremidchiev; 21-03-2019, 02:21 AM.

Yeah its not ideal but you might attached paint effects brush to the curve and mesh it to tube, it should give you nice geo of the curve.Dmitry Vinnik
