  • IPR Rendering not working

    Hello community,
    .
    I have a problem rendering with IPR on a local machine using Windows 10. This is the error message: [2019/Jul/30|17:36:07] V-Ray warning: Render host (127.0.0.1:20207) is not responding.

    Maya Version: 18.6.0.8394

    V-Ray: 4.12.0

    Could anybody suggest what I should change in order to work?

    In case you need more information, I will provide you with log data.

    Thanks in advance!

    Probably you have V-Ray render slave registered as a windows service. If so, stop it or run Remove V-Ray render slave as a service in the V-Ray for Maya folder (Widows Start Menu).

      the strange thing is, with small scenes it works, with larger scenes I get this message:

      // Warning: line 1: V-Ray : Render host hp19 (127.0.0.1:20207) disconnected by client //
      // Warning: line 1: V-Ray : Slave dropped and there are no more render hosts that can work on the scene. Waiting for a host to connect... //
      // Warning: line 1: V-Ray : Server 127.0.0.1:20207 is currently busy //

      when I hide everything in the scene except a plane it works. It not only this scene, it happens with all larger scene. sometimes it works, most of the time not?

      when turning of "Use out of process" in the render settings it works, but that' s risky with Maya
