Hi,
it seems I found a bug with Maya 2019, V-Ray and V-Ray scenes.
The higher the vrscene polycount, the more unresponsive Maya becomes. Maya noticeably hangs before any interaction is possible. With 10.000.000 polys, Maya takes several seconds before I am able to navigate in the viewport. Once the viewport responds, the FPS is very high (around 65).
Maya is constantly utilizing 1 core at 100% (5% total).
If I turn of "Cached Playback", Maya responds quickly again.
If I set the "Cached Playback" "Preferred mode" from the default "Evaluation Cache" to "Viewport Hardware Cache", Maya responds fast as well.
Maya 2019.2
V-Ray 4.12.01
Nvidia Geforce 1080ti
Driver 430.86
Windows 10
Dual intel Xeon E5-2690 v3
