So I've been trying to incorporate the Stand-alone Denoiser Tool into my animation pipeline, however I've hit a problem and I can't find answers. Maybe someone here could help.
The Standalone Denoiser Tool requires exr (multichannel) in order for the Denoiser render element to generate it's 3 data passes.
After Denoising a frame sequence with the tool, it seems to compress or collapse the channels where all the other render elements are stored.
This happens regardless of single pass denoising on the beauty, OR denoising the elements individually. I don't see any options in the tool to preserve other channels, so what am I missing here?
A possible work-around is figuring out why Denoiser render element doesn't export it's 3 data passes at regular exr. only exr (multichannel).
That way I could keep each pass as it's own sequence and Denoise each pass manually.
Any insight on this output issue with the Stand-alone Denoiser Tool would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
