I would like to control the v-wave attribute of a ramp texture with another ramp texture to create a falloff effect on the amplitude of the v-wave. When I create this network it seems to work fine in the viewport and it renders fine in maya software. But when rendered with vray the result is incorrect. Am I missing something here? Please see the included maya 2018 example file to see the problem.
