xgen and vray drives me crazy ...

hey, I´m on a scene with an animal and xgen (regular xgen). I have diffenrent descriptions for the hair. so far so good. when I try to render, the scene translation runs out of time. after 30 min I break all my tries.
when I setup the scene with arnold, all is fine and it starts to render after a minute. it cannot be the amount of hair or geometry I think. any idea what it could be? it stuck at translate geometry to vray...
the cpu runs at 1% ! at his time, the ram fills slowly up. It doesn´t look like work.

I already did, a couple of days ago. both scenes vray shader and arnold. if you didn´t received, plz tell me.
