Large difference between IPR and render

Hello,
Im quite new to Vray.

I have tweaked a material so that it looks like i want in IPR but when i render it gets really flat. You can see this in the small section that is rendered vs the IPR:
Is there any way to get them 1:1 or any other way how i could tweak the materials?
