  • Vray doesn't render until a certain amount of brightness

    Hello Guys,

I am a beginner with Maya and Vray, so please excuse my lack of knowledge to that topic. (Also i am no native speaker)

I got a scene with a light dome and two light squares. But Vray doesn`t render my materials correctly. Materials that reflect white are rendered like this.
THe sample rate is also very bizarre. (Look pictures)

I tried a bit of different materials and turns out: It doesn`t matter what material i got on my mesh. lambert. Vray, Vray with or without reflection. Even when I point my camera to the brightest spot of my lightdome: The brightest spots are not rendered and have this blueish border.
This project is very important to me, since it's for my university. ANd i desperatly need help.

    SIncerely, Tyrone

You need to turn "Force color clamping on" (the second button from left to right at the bottom) in the VFB to preview the correct result. I presume that's the issue with the VRaySampleRate as well.
