Hi,
I have recently purchased a new PC with higher specs, but still have the same issue when rendering a boat moving through ocean scene (using Phoenix FD 4.2 and rendering with V-Ray Next in Maya 2020).
I am able to render an animation sequence for a certain amount of frames, and then my boat model and ocean disappear for a few frames (rendering only phoenix FD foam) and then the render stops all together, stating in script editor - // Error: V-Ray : Exception [module=1] : Memory allocation failure; 740229664 bytes requested; 2974827005 bytes already in heap; 0 bytes free heap space. //
Here are my PC specs -
AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 12-Core Processor 3.79 GHz
32 GB RAM
2TB Storage/2TB SSD
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER
If you have any suggestions as to what is causing this error it would be greatly appreciated.
Many Thanks,
Tom
