It seems to work fine on a simple scene. Could you attach the scene from the video here?

Ok so I had this issue before in 3.6. With ipr its like in the original video, however if i do a scene render, either progressive or bucket in cuda mode...it renders correctly then at the last second overwrites the image...see new video. (ive attached scene)

Im using a gtx 2080ti with the recommended drivers.

Thanks for the provided files. You are correct, it seems the issue happens when the texture is loaded in the reflection glossiness slot. I've logged the issue (internal bug-tracker id: VGPU-4978 ) for developer analysis. Rather than inverting the texture, an inelegant workaround might be to activate the "Use Roughness" parameter to invert the glossiness itself.

So, you said the simple scene didnt have the problem?

I did because I tested the inversion on the diffuse slot. The issue seems to be the reflection glossiness, not the texture inversion.

ok so look, Im a bit annoyed I have to say this tbh.

If the video I posted originally shows me connecting to the glossiness, surely thats where you start? But instead after a minimal test, then threw it back to me saying that your scene was fine. The knock on effect is I have to stop what im doing and go check i haven't done something wrong. This isnt the way to do things.

I wouldnt mind but I'm pretty this issue was reported by me years ago in V3.6. These are basic maya options, they should work by now..so frustrating and frankly makes me feel like the testing procedures need looking at.

A bit of tunnel-visioning, my bad. We'll see what we can do, use the provided workaround for now.
