So IPR, cuda or CPU doesnt update if you alter the number of mash instances...is this a known issue?

No movement yet, I'm afraid. I'll see if I can bump its priority additionally.
Regarding VRayScatter, it seems to work on my end. Could you provide a scene where IPR is not working so we can take a look? Either here or at support@chaosgroup.com (mention this thread in the e-mail along with your V-Ray and host platform versions).Comment

ive attached a scene and video..scene is just a simple cube and plane.

Aha, it works, but it does not update, you are right. I've logged the issue (internal bug-tracker id: VMAYA-10075) for investigation. Just so you know, the development team is informed about both issues.Comment
