Vray 5 Proxy Visibility Bug

As you can see in screenshot, proxies are hidden, in the render and outliner, but the placeholder proxies are still seen in scene.

Ive attached a video, showing that its to do with the preview object. In shaded mode it hides, in wireframe it doesnt. Change preview to bounding box and its ok i think

Thanks for the report. This affects only the New V-Ray Proxy node (you have the checkbox activated when creating the proxy). I've logged it (internal bug-tracker id: VMAYA-9830) for developer investigation.

Just wondering, as theres a few bugs ive reported recently, how will we know if its been fixed? Is it a case of checking the release docs, or is there a list somewhere with the bugs, descriptions and status that we can look at?

The changelog after a release describes all the implemented bugfixes for the particular build.

The issue should be fixed in the latest 5.0 stable nightlies, build 30295 and later.
The fix will also be included in the our next official release.
