  • Vray clipper mesh visible in refraction

    Hi there,

When I add a mesh tot he vray clipper it does its job properly. But when the object passes behind a refractive surface the clipper mesh becomes visible (just in refraction). The clipper render stats don't seem to work here either (not sure how they are supposed to work).

    Thanks

Do you have the "Camera Rays Only" clipper option activated? If not, do attach a simple scene containing the issue along with a screencap here or send it to support@chaosgroup.com so we can take a look. Also, what kind of render stats do you expect from the clipper?

Thanks for the provided scene. This is due to VRayClipper's behavior when dealing with objects within one another (clipper considers the inner part of the outer sphere as part of the clipping object). To bypass this, exclude the glass sphere from the clipper's effect.
