V-Ray NEXT - animation does not save with VFB History ON

Hi all, I have this issue for quite some time now, though I think it worked fine in VRay 3.6. When VFB History is ON and I render animation the render output never saves in specified Maya project folder. Only the first frame of animation saves inside VFB History.

It is fairly annoying if you leave you VFB History ON and find out in the morning that nothing has saved....

This is the expected behavior. The VFB History is not intended to save animation frames even if you have switched the Autosave option. The purpose of the VFB History is to keep a history of previously rendered still images so you could easily compare the different results.

If you would like to render and save animation of frames, you would need to set the correct Image File Output path in your render settings.
