Vray 5 VFB background image effected by tonemapping

Hello, i need to match to a photographic backplate so I load it into vfb. The issue i have is it's tone mapped. Is there a way to turn this off. So any adjustments I make in vfb don't effect the backplate.

Simply move the background layer up in the tree so that the other color-correction layers are below it - then they won’t affect it.

Thanks for your reply. Sorry I should have been more specific. I am experimenting with acescg which seems to have its own tonemappin. Any ideas how to stop aces effecting backplate?
