  • VFB test resolution button

So sometimes when ii load a scene, even though the test resolution button shows that its unticked, it acts as thought it is enabled. Screenshot shows the renders settings resolution and you can see the render info says its half the size. If it toggle the button on and off again its fine.

I cannot seem to reproduce the issue. Does it happen on a specific scene? If yes, could you send it to support@chaosgroup.com together with the reproduction steps so we can take a look? Mention this thread in the e-mail along with your V-Ray and host platform versions.

I've also experienced this frequently. Wasn't this previously a known issue that was supposedly fixed? But, it's still been happening for me in recent versions.

            • create an empty scene
            • render scene with 50% option selected
            • save scene
            • reopen scene and you will see the icon is no longer selected, but it renders as though it is.
I thinks its just a ui icon issue, just a minor thing but thought i would point it out. Ive attached a video

Thank you for the video and provided information. I managed to reproduce the issue; it occurs only when loading the scene in the same Maya session. I've logged the issue (internal bug-tracker id: VMAYA-10140) for developer analysis.

Don't you guys find the the test res button as well as other buttons difficult to distinguish whether they are ticked or not?

This is something we'll be looking at improving in the future. It's true that it's a bit hard to tell between the states right now.
