  • ACES results strange

    Dear all,

i am looking again at aces with vray 5 and maya 2020.4 and facing strange color shifts compared to arnold. Please have a look:

Viewport Screenshot, left a Textured Plane with "ulitily - srgb - texture" and right the same image as image plane with "ulitily - srgb - texture", Maya handels this right:

I got the same thing with a 3d scene i converted to aces workflow, overall too dark and too much saturation. I followed the docs from here and set up everthing exactly like written:

    https://forums.chaosgroup.com/forum/...-ocio-workflow

I attached the test scene for you.

    Andy

Switch the "Rendering color space" to ACEScg (Render settings>VRay>Color Mapping) as well and see if the result is satisfactory.
