  • slowdown with OCIO loaded in vfb. even with vfb closed.

my maya becomes really 'sticky' with an ocio loaded in the VFB, even with it closed. Clicking around there is a significant delay and maya likes to lock up with the ocio loaded in the VFB. As soon as i switch back to srgb display in VFB, it instantly goes back to being fast/ snappy.

I saw a post from 2017 about this and one in modo section from last year, is this as good as it will get?

    Hi emartin8907,

Can you let us know if this is happening with V-Ray 5 or an older version, and if it is with 5, have you tried in Next for example - is it the same behavior?
What if you load another OCIO file? Is it scene-specific, or is it happening in every scene?

Best would be to forward us a screen recording demonstrating the issue and a scene with the ocio file in question so we can see if we can reproduce this here. You can send them via our contact form, just make sure to mention this thread in the email. Thanks!
